According to export data released by the Brazilian Secretary for Foreign Trade (Secex), Brazil exported 654300 tons of sugar in the first week of April, with a daily average export volume of 130900 tons, an increase of 142% from the daily average export volume of 54000 tons for the entire month of April last year.
The total monthly export volume in April last year was 971600 tons.
